Mission Statement

Archegos [ar-khay-gos] - “One who provides the first occasion of or takes a lead in anything; author; leader of all others who tread a path.” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary)

Jesus Christ is the Biblical Archegos!

ARCHEGOS MISSION STATEMENT

Archegos Ministries, Inc. is an inter-denominational, non-profit organization whose general ministerial focus is to extend the kingdom of God into all sectors of society through prayer, the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the presentation of His infallible word, the Bible. It is our endeavor to achieve this end in humble submission and dependence on the Holy Spirit, in partnership with the body of Christ, and motivated for the glory of God.

My name is Nicholas Schuleit, and I am founder and director of Archegos Ministries, Inc. I graduated with a double major in Economics and International Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; masters in Theological Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Fl; and five master level credits at the University of Oxford in England. I am presently pursuing a second masters in Christianity and Culture at Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

In my approximately ten years as a missionary in Peru, I have been engaged in a variety of activities as pastor and professor. I have preached and teached in churches, homes, retreats, camps, and in many rugged, isolated areas throughout the jungle, highland and coastal regions. This has been accomplished through team-oriented, servant leadership in partnership with local churches; combining gifts with integrity, vision and creativity for the glory of God.

Presently, I am living in Trujillo, Peru as part of a pastoral team of eight who minister to approximately 900 members of a Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Apart from pastoring the approximately 100 young adults in the congregation, I am also a professor in their seminary for the north of the country (Seban), and teacher of Christian Education at an evangelical high school (Elliot). My wife Melissa is Peruvian and a student at the National School of Fine Arts; we also have a three year old son named after his father.

As I press forward in the good fight for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I believe in the ethos of grace, meaning that God´s grace operates uniquely in the lives of all believers, enhancing our personal and cultural diversity. In all my relationships, I try to cultivate an atmosphere of mutual acceptance and respect, which encourages each member to attain their full potential in Jesus Christ. I affirm all essential evangelical doctrines while leaving secondary, less consequential issues as matters of sincere, loving debate and personal position. As a result, I have a broad based partnership within the body of Christ, which accurately reflects the heart of the Gospel and the mind of God.

…to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.
~Acts 26:18 (NASB)
